F1 LV Grand Prix '23 Invitations

Project details

After Ibotta sponsored F1 driver Logan Sargeant, the Events team came to us designers with a request for invitations and itineraries for the 2023 Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix where Ibotta was hosting a VIP experience. I was responsible for the design of the deliverables on a tight turnaround since the event details were still in the works - but I enjoy a challenge!

Due to the luxurious and sporty nature of the events, I knew Ibotta's usual branding wouldn't quite work for this audience. I used a dark navy blue and shiny gold and teal accents to give the assets a sleek, luxury feel and decided on a font that was different from Ibotta's brand font, wanting something that complemented the F1 look. I pulled in icons in a new style to help make the invite and itinerary easily digestible for attendees.

The deliverables were a hit with the Events team, and later, these assets were used by the other designers on the Creative team as a template for the deliverables needed for the 2024 races in Austin and Miami.
