F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023 Invitation & Itinerary Booklet
Goal
Design the digital invite and printed itinerary booklet for an upcoming F1 event and ensure they complement the luxurious, sporty nature of the event while meeting the urgent deadline.
Overview
After Ibotta sponsored F1 driver Logan Sargeant, Ibotta hosted a VIP experience at the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. I designed the digital invite that was sent, along with the printed itinerary booklets Ibotta had on-site for attendees on a tight turnaround.
Process
Due to the luxurious and sporty nature of the events, I knew Ibotta's usual bright, ruby pink branding wouldn't be ideal for this project. I used a dark navy blue and black for the background, with a subtle checkered flag on the cover of the booklets. To give the materials a sleek, luxury look and feel I used shiny gold and teal accents and text throughout. I also decided on a font that was different from Ibotta's brand font, wanting something that complemented the sporty F1 look.

To make the invite and itinerary easy to read and navigate, I used icons to highlight key info like the benefits of the VIP experience and the steps to download the event app. For the booklet, I added a detailed map from F1's website and to help attendees navigate the event.

Outcome
The Events team loved the materials and shared that they were positively received by attendees at the event. The following year, these assets were used by the other designers on the Creative team as a template for the materials requested for the 2024 F1 races in Austin and Miami.
